Yoga techniques improve respiratory and cardiovascular function, promote recovery from and treatment of addiction, reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, improve sleep patterns, and enhance overall well-being and quality of life.

Anxiety and depression create negative stress patterns in the body. These experiences can have far reaching consequences and can contribute to developing additional mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Studies show that traumatic experiences and chronic stress are linked to an increased likelihood of developing a multitude of health issues including chronic inflammation and heart disease etc. 

Research has shown that regular focused Yoga & Meditation programmes can significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety and PTSD and lower stress hormones. Yoga with meditation retrains the mind and body – creating a  powerful relaxation response, activating the healing and regulation of the nervous system and releasing emotional pain from the body.

Regular yoga practice encourages us to slow down our breathing and focus on the present, shifting the balance from the sympathetic nervous system and the flight-or-fight response to the parasympathetic system and the relaxation response. The latter is calming and restorative; it lowers breathing and heart rate, decreases blood pressure, lowers cortisol levels, and increases blood flow to the intestines and vital organs.

Satveer has developed a tailored yoga & meditation method that calms the mind and body with yoga postures and meditation/relaxation techniques.  This directly impacts the parasympathetic nervous system, which consistently activates deep relaxation response. Satveer’s method detects how  trauma and negative trapped emotions affect the physical and emotional body. Her calm personality, positive encouragement, and extensive experience have helped many students restore their inner peace and get their lives back.  Students notice remarkable improvements in their physical and emotional wellbeing. 

With 13 years of professional experience, including collaborating with psychologists and psychiatrists in the USA, Satveer has worked with a wide range of clientele – from children to seniors – in gym studios, private home sessions, work offices, hospitals and schools. 

Satveer organises and teaches many yoga and healing workshops internationally, onsite and using video conferencing.
