Sound Healing

Sound Healing

Sound healing yoga is a unique practice that combines traditional yoga techniques with the therapeutic use of sound vibrations to promote healing, relaxation, and inner harmony. During a sound healing yoga session, we will engage in gentle yoga postures, breath work, and meditation, while also experiencing the soothing sounds of various instruments such as Tibetan bowls.

The vibrations produced by these instruments resonate with the body's energy centers (chakras) and subtle energy channels (nadis), helping to release tension, clear blockages, and restore balance on physical, emotional, and energetic levels. Sound healing yoga is a deeply immersive and meditative experience, allowing you to enter a state of deep relaxation, heightened awareness, and profound inner peace.

Kundalini

Kundalini yoga is a dynamic and transformative form of yoga that emphasizes the awakening of Kundalini energy, often described as the primal life force energy located at the base of the spine. This ancient practice incorporates a blend of physical postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), chanting (mantra), meditation, and deep relaxation techniques to stimulate the flow of Kundalini energy through the body's energy centers (chakras).

Through the practice of specific Kundalini kriyas (sequences), we will stimulate the flow of this energy upwards through the chakras, clearing energetic blockages and facilitating spiritual growth, self-awareness, and enlightenment.

Prenatal Yoga Class

Prenatal

The primary goals of prenatal yoga are to promote strength, flexibility, and relaxation while alleviating common discomforts associated with pregnancy, such as back pain, fatigue, and stress. Prenatal yoga also focuses on cultivating a deep connection between the mother and her growing baby, fostering a sense of calmness and confidence as the pregnancy progresses.

As a certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor, I have specialized training and knowledge about the anatomical and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. I provide safe and supportive guidance to expecting mothers, offering modifications and props to accommodate your changing needs at different stages of pregnancy.

Benefits of prenatal yoga may include improved posture and circulation, reduced muscle tension, enhanced relaxation and sleep, increased strength and stamina for labor and delivery, and a greater sense of emotional well-being and connection with the baby.

Emotional Wellness

Emotional wellness yoga is a practice focused on using yoga techniques to support mental and emotional well-being. Through postures, breath work, and mindfulness, we will cultivate self-awareness, emotional regulation, and inner peace. It also emphasizes self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-love as essential components of emotional well-being.

 

By connecting with the body, breath, and mind, you can develop a deeper understanding of your emotions, release tension and anxiety, and cultivate a sense of calm and groundedness.

We incorporate fun and engaging activities such as yoga poses, breathing exercises, mindfulness games, and relaxation techniques to promote physical fitness, mental focus, and emotional well-being in children/teens.

The primary goals of kids yoga are to improve flexibility, strength, and coordination while also teaching your child important life skills such as self-regulation, stress management, and positive social interaction. Through imaginative storytelling, music, and creative expression, kids/teen yoga workshops encourage your child to explore their minds and emotions in a safe and supportive environment.

Trauma-informed

Trauma-informed yoga is a specialized approach to yoga that recognizes and responds to the impact of trauma on your body, mind, and spirit. It emphasizes creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for individuals who have experienced trauma, such as abuse, violence, or other adverse life events.

Trauma-informed yoga workshops incorporate gentle movement, breath work, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques, with an emphasis on cultivating self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-compassion. These practices help you reconnect with your body, release stored tension and trauma, and develop coping skills for managing stress and anxiety.

Restorative

Restorative yoga is a gentle and deeply relaxing form of yoga where we focus on rest and rejuvenation. We may use props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to support the body in various yoga poses, allowing for passive stretching and relaxation without exerting effort or strain.

Restorative yoga workshops include a series of carefully selected poses that target different areas of the body, such as gentle backbends, twists, forward folds, and inversions. These poses are designed to promote deep relaxation within you, improve your flexibility, and enhance your body's ability to rest and restore itself.
